Nancy Marshall Communications (NMC) will host two Social Media Boot Camps for businesses and organizations looking to increase their social media presence. These interactive workshops share tools, techniques, and information on how to enhance engagement through social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.

About Our Boot Camps
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4, 2012 – SENATOR INN & SPA, AUGUSTA
Beginners’ session 9:00-12:00pmThis basic session is for people who are generally unfamiliar with social media but who have a desire to increase their knowledge. These users may not know the difference between a Facebook profile and a Facebook page, and may not understand all the ways “likes” and user interactions work. Beginners’ session attendees may also be unfamiliar with core Facebook functionality or best practices, such as how many times to post per day, and how to engage audiences via Twitter. This session includes a complimentary lunch from 12:00-1:00. |
Advanced session 1:00-4:00 pmThose attending this session should have a comfortable understanding of Facebook, from its core functionality, the concept of “likes,” and the concept of a Facebook page. Advanced session attendees should also have established an active online presence on one or more social media websites other than Facebook. This session includes a complimentary lunch from 12:00-1:00. |
Cost: $199.00 per session
Participants must bring their own laptop.
